Summary This volume arose out of a concern to assist people in their struggle to lead a flourishing life. Fractured, stressed, relationally broken and spiritually empty people instinctively reach for the panacea of happiness. But happiness is a fair weather friend, which often evaporates on contact. More stable and worthwhile than happiness is leading a flourishing life, which is able to integrate our impulses, desires, longings, and experiences into a stable theatre on whose stage we are able to perform our lives.
